are temp staff any more lowly than permanent staff?
....I would say most perm staff @ my office are nice , they do smile at you or try to talk to you, even those who bother to cast a single glance at us, the lowly temp.
....
I wouldn't say we've done an excellent job, but at least we are trying our best in every task we are given. It's only our 20th day and still have a lot to learn and i am glad that the seniors in my team are patient enough to guide us through.
This is a public blog and there's a limit to what I can say here. how mood dampening can it be when here you are trying so hard and finally getting on tracks and able to perform certain task independently already and there u are, hearing 1 statement that is enough to kill.
We would rather those perm staff who have their eyes on the top of their head to continue taking us as invisible nothings than to meddle in affairs that are totally irrelevant to them. We do the dirty job for you, taking the staple and paper cuts, ankle and heels swells on your behalf, but I am on payroll so no credit to us for the things we've done but just a gentle reminder to them that one should always be appreciative and not take things for granted.
I've always thought office politics are only confined to television shows, now it has become so close and real that i really have to watch my back. but all the more it makes me determined to do a better job to shut them up, and i believe my fellow temp mate feels the same too. I am just ranting out after stomaching it for a day. I will clean it up and start afresh on a brand new day.
This is the first time I typed an entry with so much hatred. Hate is too strong a word, but any other words would be too light for the attitude we have to put up with.
thanks to those who spared me your listening ears, though some are pretty deaf! =p I am not referring to zhisheng, really.. haha. And joycelyn for your msn essay =) and of course, those perm staff who see us as a part of them =)

On a lighter note, i am especially excited that cny is coming! finally no exams right after cny... weee!!!
Have already decorated my house though i won't be in sg then. However... no trace of cow in our decoration, we recycled last year decor ooopsx.. so you'll see many lao shus instead haha. And i am super looking forward to my interhse bai nian with my greatly missed Jasmine, Gian Hui, Lee Kiang, Mei Qi, Sherlin, Kylie, Hui Ying, Stacia (not in any order!) and not forgetting my JC babes and hunks =)
